Booked on line, arrived on my allocated slot. There was no long lines, Everything was fast n efficient. Only thing that was a delay was the paying counter which was abit slow. Most efficient licence department iv been too.

Worst experience. I had online booking and had to pay for it and apparently the people werent there to take my payment so which means my booking lapsed and i had to rebook. The person at the gate seemed very incompetent with no information. Very disappointing for a government establishment.

Blown away by the great experience. Everything was so efficient. Took me 20 mins to renew my driver's. Everything is electronic. Make sure you book ahead, have 1 ID photo irrespective of whether you need a temp licence, try get your eye test done before the time and bring a copy of your ID. Be there at least 30 mins before your booking, and have a card ready for payment, no cash.

Good experience, had appointment at 2.30pm. Was done by 3pm. Have all your forms plus copy of ID. Payment is by card only

The staff and security personnel were amazing. Upon entering the security guard was very helpful and attentive to all who came through. The ladies and gentle men at this license department go out of their way to help. The lady who did my eye test though it was her lunch break she took her time to do my eye test and finger prints they ensured that no one else was there then she took her break. Well done keep it up.

Wow, what an excellent service i received today, booked my DL renewal online and everything went smoothly from the lady at counter 10 and therefore to room 4 for the finger print/ eye tests then to counter 15. i am so impressed with their service had an 08:20 appointment and i was out by 09:01. Keep up the good work

Had an effortless experience. Booked my renewal, did not spend more than 30min in lines. Pick up was 5min. Only improvement is communication when power is out, as the dept is closed. Perhaps the personnel can be at the phones to ensure people are aware, if they were to phone and confirm or perhaps place it on facebook

This place does not operate when there is no power. You would think that they could have installed a generator or even allow students to write their learners test on paper but no we as the license department are lazy and we would rather not work. Useless government useless eskom.

Booked online for the renewal of my drivers license,took me 20 min and I was back in my car on the way to work. I made the gentleman handing out papers aware of my booking and he allowed me to skip all the walk-ins. Very efficient service by him and the lady doing my eye test. The cashiers seem to start later as there was a bottleneck at this department. Very pleasant surprise for such quick service. Well done to to the Wadeville Licensing Department!

I would just like to give a big shout out to Wadeville Licensing Dep. I got there at 7.45am on the Saturday 09/06/2018 and was out at 9.45am.
The service was excellent from the gentleman at Counter 10 to the lady at the Eye Testing to the gentleman at Counter 15 ..thank youthank you👍👍👍

Good service received from renewing drivers license, to getting the license. I can't complain. The staff tried their best, and considering how many hundreds of people visit this department everyday, they where great. Thank you to all the staff, we appreciate you and your work you do to help the community. Well done.

This is such a slow licence department person giving out form to renew your drivers licence the most uncivilised person you can get. You sit there for at least 5 hours just to do your fingerprints. Never go here for drivers licence renewal. They cant even get one star

Too slow,been trying to register a car from 10am and 13:00 they tell me my proof of address is wrong they want affidavit,I go make affidavit and come. Another person tells me affidavit doesn't work there. So service is bad. At receiving they checked my documents,gave me a tracking number and 2 hours later someone comes and say my documents are wrong

This has to be the worst license department in the country. Been to collect my drivers license 3 time and waited over an hour to be told I was in the wrong queue. No signage, nobody to assist just arrogant employees who are extremely unhelpful. Speaking to the superintendent did not help as he is as arrogant

Two weekends in a row I've been given different closing times. 12:00, last intake at 11:45. Got here 11:15 and today they closed at 10FFS Get some consistency DA and enforce the times on the internet (which are all wrong for the weekend)

Slow service. There would be 4 people at a specific counter but at any given moment, 3 are on tea break or chatting around the photocopier. Information desk is rude though when you do eventually get helped the tellers are friendly.

Does not even deserve one star. Pathetic service from the "manager" who did not even have the manners to apoligise for her staff errors.
After 3 hours of waiting for nothing.disgusting .got brushed off with not even a sorry. Someone else walked into her office and she just ignored me.

Been here since 8am waiting for them to open.
If you know you're not going to open rather put up a sign that you won't open/will open late. Atleast let us know so we don't waste our time too.
