  Vulintaba will always be our escape from the rat race! It is 25km outside of Newcastle with a lovely restaurant.

  We went for a hike, 19km, and lunch afterwards. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful walk, tha landscape changes and change in flora. The lunch was great, had an amazing milkshake and burger.

  Beautiful golf estate and hotel 20km outside Newcastle. Lovely 9 hole golf course, lots of walking and cycling trails up into the mountains. Excellent meals to be enjoyed in the Jackson Brown restaurant- stunning views! Security very good.

  Beautiful and tranquil. Mountains and streams; nested in foothill folds of an amphitheatre like mountain in the Northern Drakensberg near Newcastle. A superbly laid out, interesting golf course with elevated tees, wastelands, various bunkers and lots of water streams and dams. Excellently kept, vast greens with great practice facilities against the backdrop of the mountain. Interesting cycling and hiking routes to suite everyone's taste from easy to very challenging.

  This place is located in one of the most tranquilising places in Mzansi. I'd recommend to anyone who wants to anyone who wants to be away from their daily stressful lives.
