Host is very friendly. House is built very good but in an oldfashioned condition. Our room was very basic and in basement of the house with a very bad smell.

We are 3 couples from Germany and hat a great stay for 2 nights in October at the Valley View Lodge with Alfred. Very clean suites, best breakfast with scramble eggs, best coffee we had in South Africa, and fresh fruit. Alfred is best host an gave us very good tips for restaurants and sight seeing. The lodge is a very good place coming from Jo`burg and going to Kruger when you will see the panoramic route.
