Very good experience here. I wanted to buy Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela stamps. The staff helped me with the same. Also, the lady at the counter exchanged 5 Rand coin for me with a specially minted 3D coin.

From last year I have been receiving my parcels from overseas at this V & A Post Office branch and l am very impressed by the way BEGUM is always assisting me as a customer before , during and after my requirements are met . She loves her job and well done to her as well as the amazing team who work with her.

Like most others - I've not used the "Post Office" much growing up.. horror stories of parcels going missing; parcels arriving damaged or empty

I must agree with Guy below - the Office at the V&A is tops!

Recently I have been collecting packages regularly and each time, one of the Staff, on her OWN account, sends me an sms each time something it waiting for me.
You can't make things like this up!

The other staff are also always happy and helpful. Flying the flag high.

post office always has stock of stuff and is very fast and competent. The fastest service out of all the post offices I have been to!

Always been happy with the Post Office Waterfront. It's a pity that the postal system in the chain before it reaches this office is so slow and this specific office should not be judged on that. I can definitely say though that once a parcel arrives at this specific office, the notification letter gets to me sometimes before the status online has shown that the first notification was sent. Other post offices, I'll be waiting a day or two after I see the first notification sent before receiving it (still not bad, but Waterfront wins). Also, they're open till 7pm which is unheard of.

Add to this: recently the central depo routed my parcel to Somerset West for some reason. Waterfront post office routed it back to the Waterfront office within 2 days!
