Basic overnight room was shocking. No warm welcome, only a lady asking for our a names and if we paid??? We where led to our unit, room was very small and not what was expected, the fridge and microwave cables next to the bed was a electrical shock waiting to happen. Both appliances where dirty and the kettle had a layer of dust and hair particles on it. The kettle has exposed wiring due to the angle of the cable hanging over the fridge. The bedside table had a used toothpick left for us to find. The front door needed muscle to even close and the security door was difficult to lock.The bedding smelled of urine and blankets and pillows too. I understand we paid for basic but cleanliness and hygiene should never be compromised. Will never book here again.

After a long 16 hour flight and a 4 and a half hour drive. I reached Tula@159 exhausted. Wanting to shower and rest but met Andre a helpful, informative and friendly member of the Tula@159. Needless to say my shower and rest was put on hold and replaced by a braai (South African for bbq) and great company.
When I come back to South Africa staying at Tula@159 will be on my itinerary

Ek kla nie graag nie, maar voel ek moet my teleurstelling deurgee. Ons het in 'n 3- Bed eenheid gebly vir 2 nagte. Dit wat ons op die webtuiste van Tula 159 gesien het (toe ons verblyf in Bloemfontein gesoek het) en wat ons gekry het is absoluut 2 wêrelde. Die positiefste was die vriendelike ontvangs wat ons van Johann gekry het. Die eenheid is ook glad nie tydens ons verblyf skoingemaak nie.

Ek en my man het 14 Januarie oornag in eenheid nommer 5. Die sitkamer lig het die heeltyd die krag laat trip en die badkamer deur se handvatsel het sommer in my hand afgebreek. Die meeste van die kragproppe werk nie en ons het geen warm water gehad nie nadat ek die eienaar gese het dat ons nie warm water het nie.

Ons het Maandag 2 Januarie vanaf Kaapstad vertrek en in Bloemfontein oorgeslaap. Na die lang rit kon ons nie wag om af te koel in die swembad en om lekker te sit nie. Groot was ons teleurstelling toe die sitkamerbank in Unit 2 so uitgesit was dat dit amper onbruikbaar is. Toe die kinders wou gaan swem was die swembad vuil en 'n kwart leeg met die plaveisel om die swembad wat nie bestaan nie. Die eenheid is vir 5 mense, maar daar is net borde vir 4 mense. Die beddens is erg ongemaklik en het dringend nuwe matrasse nodig. Gevoel of ek op 'n waterbed slaap. Die afstandbeheer vir die hek het nie 'n battery ingehad nie en moes omgeruil word. Na 'n erg teleurstellende ervaring kon ek nie wag om huis toe te ry nie. Nooit ooit weer slaap ek daar nie.
