  I booked a room during a festival in the city. The lodge charged my host double rates because of this busy time. When I arrived my colleugue and I were the only people who were not part of a group booking which filled the rest of the rooms. The manager told it was going to be a rough weekend. The group were going to party hard. And so they did, right through the night every night. I complained to the management who made no efforts to curb the noise. The walls are very thin and one can hear even normal conversations in the next room. I feel the owners should not have gauged us double fees if they knew we would be disturbed all weekend by this group.

  Hi All, we had a wonderful time at the lodge. We were welcomed by the host, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the electric blankets worked and the lodge is open 24/7. I can really recommend it. Ute Carpenter-Kling
