This is always an excellent stop to get refreshments or have a pastry when you are on foot in the city. I have a kid and in the last trip to the Cape Town carnival I as where I would find. A toilet for him so late at night, but thankfully Grind 4 Truth was on the way. The waiters are helpful and friendly and the pan au chocolate is first class. Coffee is great too.

    Great coffee. Awesome for meetings.

Sadly it's not easy to find parking nearby.

Always busy but well worth the visit. Nothing beats watching beans roast as you enjoy your brew. Steampunk heaven with lots of quirky artworks scattered throughout.

The coffee is amazing! The setting is really unique and brings a fun atmosphere to your experience. The food however is really expensive, avocado on toast for R120 is crazy! Definitely worth going to try their coffee, but not to eat

Lovely place with snappy service, good coffee and tasty food. The menu is in Comic sans and looks unprofessional, but that's a minor thing.

Become a bit too gimmicky in the past few years. Coffee is good but on the more expensive side. Friendly staff but it's usually difficult to find somewhere to sit. The food isn't great, but it's worth a visit if you want to check out this steampunk-themed coffee bar.

Truth makes some of the best coffee in Cape Town and they know their stuff here. My Americano is always smooth and well balanced, not bitter or overly strong. You can buy your favourite beans and there is a Truth Coffee Academy with Barista training. The spacious and airy building also contains the Prestwich Memorial exhibition os the former turbulent history. This branch is located at beginning of vibey Green Point with its trendy shops. Although in the middle of the city, it is lovely to take an outdoor seat and chill out in what is a calm and cool green space.

I love this place for a wee coffee on the way to town. A nice location and also a good exhibition of the historical significance of this location.

Lovely spot for a coffee. Grass lawn outside. Tables and umbrellas outside too, but not on lawn. Unique location for a coffee shop in the city.
