  I really liked that there was a sign and line indicating the Tropic of Capricorn, however the fact that the “rock“ is man-made is odd in a nature reserve.

  A must-visit if you are in the area. Take the obligatory photograph of one foot on either side of the tropic. You may get out of your vehicle at the sign but be on the look out for animals: I have encountered lions very close to this spot. Even if you're an all-star track athlete, most animals are are more aware than you are and they are faster than you are!
