Location: Good. Access and parking: adequate. Service: below average. Waitress conduct: Good and efficient and friendly. Owner conduct: poor, seemed to pass blame to patrons for her errors, unhelpful, made excuses, treated one of our party really badly when she made reasonable comments about a salad. Portions: small and overpriced. Variety: poor. Overall: would not recommend

Stopped over for supper, service very slow. Waited a long time for drinks.
Ordered calamari @ R125 , very bland. Starter of Zucchini very tasty, Impala carpaccio too salty.Specials menu was delivered after all meals were eaten. Liquorice ice cream with sambuka a nice finish. Red wine Sangria worth ordering.

They added additional charges to the bill.
I was happy with the food although expensive.
Not at all happy with the crooked charges which had to be changed.

The food here can't be faulted at all, it's very good. The scenery is very nice too, with the restaurant being right by the lagoon. The dessert options are all very tasty, and homemade. The only fault I have is that when the restaurant is busy, the service is very slow. It took about an hour, if not more for our food to be brought to the table in the December holidays, two of the meals were lukewarm too. Despite this, this is certainly one of the few decent restaurants on the South Coast. If you're in the area, particularly out of peak season, you can't go wrong here. Be sure to book well in advance in December.

Sangria was AMAZING. the portions are perfect and allow for you to have a perfect a full three course meal without feeling stuffed. And the food it was out of this world

Everytime we come to the South Coast we come here! Its absolutely wonderful. Great Italian food, great service. Not expensive for the level of quality received. I would recommend making a booking before hand.

One can not fault the menu and quality of the food. Unfortunately after booking two months in advance to celebrate our anniversary, only to be treated poorly by the snobbish owner. This attitude had also rubbed off on the staff. The food can no make up for the lack of Italian atmosphere that one would have expected for a restaurant with this reputation. What a let down for the Italian husband of the owner, who seems to have no involvement. SAD TO SAY THE LEAST.

The location can only be described as heavenly. We ordered T-bone and it tasted like I have never experienced before. Tender as butter and cut in strips from the bone. A hint of garlic and a marriage between all the right herbs and spices. Pavlova was fit for angel tongues.
