So it seems it's the customers job to open the box and check if all parts are inside before paying! I purchased an item and got home only to realize half of the items needed is not in the box. Now I need to drive an 1 hour back just to return it due to a mistake that they made. Horrible customer service. Not willing to assist at all

Somerset mall toys r us is with out a doubt one of the worst stores I've ever had the displeasure to visit. If it wasn't for the fact that we got discount on Discovery there for our baby diapers etc, I would never go there again. They are always understaffed and although they have several pay points, there is always just one cahier available. If you manage to find a staff member, and ask them for assistance, their product knowledge is mediocre at best. We visited the store many times during summer, and they had a ongoing issue with the air conditioning, making it absolutely unbearable for pregnant mommies to shop there. We have decided to not visit the store again, as the little bit of discount you get with Discovery does not justify the aggravation you experience there. I only gave it one star in my rating, as there is no option to give it zero stars.

We were looking for a cute present in this toys r us and we didn't expect that they have plenty of it. The staff is pretty friendly and answer your questions quick and useful. The pricing is okay depends on what you buy. They don't have toilets in there and you have to go to the mall where the public restrooms are. It's clean and you can find whatever you are looking for pretty quick.

Just love walking the Aisles in this stores every kind of toy from wooden to video games section under one roof. Be prepared to pay high end prices for quality goods.

Online says store opens at 8:30. Store was not open at 8:30. Apparently time changed but no one bothers to update published times.

Reasonable prices, excellent helpful staff. Wish the company can sort out the air condition. Not working since last year and still not working. I had to leave my shopping there, because I just couldn't stand the heat.
Felt and still feeling so sorry for the employees to work in that hot for hours.
They still smile and are very professional
