Seriously in need of a decor and paint update very 80's. And the overwhelming smell of damp in the bathrooms is a bit much. Also, get a wider selection of Dstv for rainy days.

Very clean and neat. Staff are not super friendly, but helpful none the less. They have trollies and people to help with your luggage. Unfortunately no aircons, but the sea views are amazing and and the flats are fully equipped and cosy.

it is on the beach , in a area were you can walk for myles on the beach , also for entertainment around. We stay in a flat that was just big enough for 2 people and all that you nead is in side it I would say the place nead to go through a refurbished , just to make it more modern in side.. other ways our stay was fab.. had a swimming pool front and lovely braai areas ,we do it again

Upon arriving, we noticed our fridge was not making cold at all, things had gone off and we ended up using a cooler box for the rest of our stay.
In the main bedroom, between the basin and bath, it was disgustingly dirty as if not cleaned for weeks.
During our stay, we did not get any apartment servicing at all, so we cleaned our unit ourselves, daily.
The TV set image was horrifying – snowflake view, only but a few channels to choose from – no availability to even bring one’s own decoder for full DSTV viewing
Our staircase sounded as if it was going to fall apart any minute
We had about one bath of hot water – so everyone basically took a bath in the same water
Second bedroom beds were so worn and old, when you sit down on them you completely sink into the matrass

For a 4 day stay, this was quite a revolting experience, the only positive thing was the friendly receptionist.

I encourage you to do something about this, as not me, nor my family will ever recommend or stay at these units again.

Bed bugs!!!!!!! And reception laughed it offsaid it must be sand lice! And it was definitely bed bugs confirmed by a pharmacist!!! Place was old, floor was sticky the whole week and general lack of maintenance.

Key deposit not refunded as arranged and requested and Toti Cabannas are refusing to correspond.

On the 6th of March we booked into Toto Cabanas and were requested to pay R 100.00 Key Deposit - which is very reasonable and OK.

We mentioned that out flight out of Durban is very early and that we would need to depart from Toti Cabannas at 04:00 the morning which would mean that no Toti Cabanna staff member would be available to refund our money, to which we were informed that it would not be a problem and that they would EFT the money. We were happy with the arrangement and provided our banking details.

We departed at 04:00 on the morning of the 9th and placed the keys in the key deposit safe and left.

No refund was made to date and this morning we started following up. I have copies of all the messages sent.

Toti Cabannas refuses to communicate with us - NO response or feedback has been received.

We want our money back!

Room "sleeps" 6 yet is unbelievably small. No table for eating or sitting at, just 2 stained couches used as beds. The parking is on a "first come, first serve basis", no designated parking based on unit number. The paint, and finishes on the various fixtures/furniture is chipped. The front door sticks and the tap leaks. The pictures displayed on the site are very misleading. The elevator floor is permanently wet and smells, as do the stairwells. Even the fridge is dented. The shower is a shocking 1x0.5m "alley" in the bathroom wall. The second bedroom has no ceiling fan at all and the plug in fan makes a loud noise. No private braai pits are available, a braai "area" is allocated, yet it is packed with people attempting to cook meat. The quality of the unit is ridiculous for it's price. Would not ever go back or recommend to anyone. Unclean and unpleasant.

I am shocked at the poor standard of this place. Upon walking in we encountered a foul smell coming mostly from the bedroom at the doorway, said smell can also be found throughout the building itself. Rooms are small and crowded with oversized furniture but somehow there is a lack of tables. The shower, not only being a tiny hole in the wall somewhat resembling a broom cupboard but also has a window inside it. The lock mechanism on this window is broken and can be easily opened from the outside of the unit by passersby. Couches and bedding are stained and have an odour to them. Plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen if several of said cupboards did not house the geyser (which also leaks). Walls dirty and the paint is pealing. For the price this place is not worth it at all and we won't be returning.
