After our wine tatsting, we wandered down to The Salt Deli where we had another bottle of wine and a wonderful lunch! Being the first people to have tasted the winter menu for this year, I have no complaints. I had the blackened chargrilled chicken with soy and tangerine and savored every bite. The four of us each had something different from the menu and everyone was very pleased (the lamb was as soft as butter). Our waiter was welcoming and gave amazing service. Thank you for the wonderful meals, compliments to the chef! You will definitely see us again.

What an awesome experience. We had Romeo as our wine connoisseur. He shook us all by the hand and introduced himself. He was so friendly and generous. What a treat. This is our fourth time visiting Neethlingshof wine farm and we have never been disappointed. The wine is delicious, the food is out of this world, the experience as a whole gets a 20/10 from us.

Went to the restaurant with no idea of what I would learn about salt. Had a most wonderful lunch. Was fascinated by the salt tasting as I never knew that there were so many natural salts that have distinctive tastes. This was followed by a delicious meal and superb wine. Our waiters were exceptional and paid attention to all our every needs. A memorable experience. Will definitely return.

Good lunch with very nice wine. It's ironic that the name of the restaurant is Salt yet there was not enough seasoning in the food. Percy the waiter was great and we loved meeting the farm cat. Good value overall. The place is not marketed enough.

Delicious and delicate gourmet dishes served with style. Priced is average to higher end but it is a worthwhile dine in experience with the special salt they use and on showcase at each table, hence the restaurant is called SALT. Food portions may not be as huge for most big South African meat eaters but this is all about finesse and enjoy the how amazing and well thought of the ingredients were put together into a dish that has taste and texture that will blow your mind unexpectedly. The lunch menu has small choices but it is more than enough. Do try their Chicken Confit and Mac and cheese balls! They are deliciously well put together and presented.
