Lovely food.

1. The waitress was sent outside to place a very awkward plastic "tablecloth" on our table. The previous people at the table did not have this tablecloth as the waitress wiped off the precipitate from the bottom of the glasses that were directly on the table. The other people that were there did not have table cloths at that stage either.
The managers/owners suddenly decided that tablecloths should be used when our group arrived. The other table also enquired why they were suddenly asked to use tablecloths.
We declined use of the very awkward tablecloth. The waitress and the lady (presumably the manager or owner) had a very audible exchange about this.
2. Since we arrived there was an elderly man and the same lady who stood at the bar, arms crossed, staring at us like hawks with a very unfriendly demeanour.
3. Of our party of 4, 3 ordered meals and I did not for reasons that could have been enquired. I had my own snacks as per my dietary requirements which the waitress was sent out to state that we are not allowed to bring our own food.
4. The waitress was told to explain to the manager that 3 x guests had ordered meals, but due to my particular dietary requirements, I could not eat from there, so I had my own snack. If she wished she may come and discuss with us.
The lady then came outside with a different story, stating that she is not sure what the waitress had said to us, but she was only concerned that us being Indian, may not be able to eat from their kitchen because "Indians are halaal". This despite one of our group having ordered pork ribs (not halaal).
5. Overall, it was clearly observed that we were received differently from other guests.response / report this review -
