  As a walk in client, it was great that I received immediate help. My spectacle's temple screw was loose and they helped me free of charge. I'll definitely go for an "offial appointment" when I need a check-up in the near future. Thanks!

  I have never seen a better curated collection of boutique eyewear in my life. You won't find a better shop on the continent, and would be hard-pressed to find something close to this anywhere in the world. I lived in NYC prior to moving to Cape Town, and still, I don't think I've been to a store with a collection this interesting. The Oculus carries such an exceptional, unique range of eyewear. Beyond this, the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive - the experience is more akin to buying a luxury car as opposed to a pair of sunglasses. I can't recommend them enough. You won't find your usual Luxottica rebrands - i.e. Ray-Ban, Oakley, Persol, Prada, etc. - instead, you will find an intriguing blend of brands such as Eyevan 7285 and Vava. Much more interesting IMO. Can't recommend them enough. Check this place out if you are in CT. As good as it gets.
