Great food, carefully thought out menu but service lacking. Wonderful starters all round, main course of parmesan kingklip was sublime other mains also good - fat fish, sushi and tagliatelle vegetarian.

Dessert was a disaster - cheese board had a large chunk of good cheese but two tiny biscuits but the best was caramel popcorn. Better suited for a kids party.

In short great food but service lacking

Cheers to The Fat Fish for setting a high bar to the start of our holiday! Cold beer, great service and amazing food - it's a winning combination! From the chicken livers to the cooked-to-perfection seared tuna, nothing disappointed us here - except having to leave.

Overall good experience. Good atmosphere with acoustic live guitarist playing back ground music. High quality food, well presented. Will definitely go there again.

Good ambiance, service and exiting menu (had to use cell phone torch to read it due to dim light which was funny). Must be a top 10 on the Garden Route. Will visit again.
