Stagnant, green, polluted water in front of the 2nd unit after booking another unit that had no hot water. Unit had torn bedding and all the press studs have been ironed over (so nothing closed on the duvet)

TV had lunes across and no fridge but 4 x water at the bottom of the cupboard.

Went for dinner and Ostrich steak and was so over season with salt I couldn't finish it. Lovely food though.

Next morning all the breakfast was cold. They also played the same music at dinner and breakfast which included R Kelly - I wish I could fly 3 x times.

Staff was lovely.

Had a workshop there. The scenery is really good and the meals and catering to your requests were also done well. The location is a bit far from the centre of the cities and on a diet road. But the ace is quite nice and has a really nice view of the river which a d good surroundings. I know that there is also a hotel next door and apparently some teams using the conferencing facility stay there as well.

It's a good place to have a wedding, there is lots of space and you're going to have a good time (if you book the right DJ). The service could be a little better but I've had a really good time and I'm sure you would too :)

Drove over an hour (one-way) to have lunch at the Blades today. However, upon arrival we were informed that they have no high chair for us to use. I specifically made a booking for 4 adults and 1 baby, requesting a high chair. When we asked to speak to the manager, he referred to our son as 'one of those' in a condescending manner. No, my son is not 'one of those' that you referred to. But Yes, my son is 'one of those' 13 month old babies who need a high chair to eat safely. We left without having lunch and will never return.

Absolutely stunning Hotel, situated just minutes from Pretoria's hustle and bustle Top class culinary cuisine as well as service. Great function coordinating, and their rooms allow for a luxurious overnight stay.

Nice and quiet! Rooms are beautifull. They had a bowl of bath salt in the bathroom - nice touch. Had a hickup with the hot water tap in the shower. A Manager came to appologize and had it fixed the same night.
Breakfast was good, a lot of food.
Friendly staff and very helpfull.

Most enjoyable semi formal and dam view bush feel. Great for medium size conferences. Room, swimming pool, big open areas. Lots of parking.

Picnic for two
What an amazing, epic time we had over at The blades. Excellent service S/O to Bitty our waiter such a sweet soul. Mbali , girl you rock!! all bookings and reservations done in such a professional manner , you are so kind thank you for all your service. chefs did an amazing job with the picnic basket wow lovely treats definitely coming back soonest!!

A little spread out and quiet, but good rooms (although satellite TV was not according to the channels on offer). Staff service and breakfast good got a fried rather than the requested poached egg, but these are trivialities.
