An institution by now it hasn't changed and keeps getting better great for a pub lunch great atmosphere and the staff has always been friendly and efficient. Would recommend again and again

Check the menu before you pay! I ordered single barrel Jack Daniels. They ran out after the 3rd single. I then went on to a cheaper bourbon and when the bill came, I was charged for premium jack daniels. The waiter said that the price of all the jack daniels was standard. Unbelievable!
He refused to call the manager and came up with more excuses. He eventually said we can just subtract R16 off the bill and pay the rest.
Never again! Apart from overpriced and undercooked food, they still rob you when its time to pay.response / report this review -

A more upmarket but still casual pub and restaurant with big TVs for sports lovers. It's always busy but you should be able to find at least one table. Food was really good. Drinks were really cold. Excellent service. I really enjoyed and will pop in again when in the area.

Good service. Sometimes they run specials on having you vehicle serviced (normally in December). Guys always do a great job. Don't rely on the for a lift to work though, you will end up waiting long for a ride. I did get one of the sales consultants to let me "test drive" his car to work, which was really nice.

Oh wow what a place to have a mouth watering meal. Their food is fresh. The only time I had a green/Greek salad was at home they also know how to serve it fresh straight from the garden.

Great Baron, lovely in the early evening sitting outside with groups of friends or work colleagues, also a great place for a formal business lunch.

The best liver and onions ever. Never disappointed. Excellent staff and management who takes a personal interest in me and my family. My favorite Restuarant for Sunday roast too.

Great pub for a drink after work or just a night out with friends, food is good too and has a good vibe in the evenings, not a dance venue but good background atmosphere to relax and enjoy the time with friends over a few drinks

The sushi. Oh my gosh. Now all sushi seems bland after having sushi from The Baron. The rest of the menu looks great but I fear I’ll never try it! Did I mention the sushi?
