  An easy going backpacker, with a nice atmosphere, pool and everything you need. But the beds were not that good and it's not the cleanest place. But OK.

  Don't stay at this hostel unless you have a fetish for used linens. The price of 650 ZAR for a double is a mere ripoff considering the non existing curtains, the pothole bathroom and the fan which only works when the light is on. Furthermore, you will be bitten by nasty bugs in the night. Really, don't go there.

  The stuff is kind, the place is clean. It is off the busy area yet not too far from the city. Best for holiday, work or just one night sleep.

  Good location for going out. Florida road is the place to be in the evening. Atmosphere was very relaxed and very nice common outside area with pool table, swimming pool and bar. There are warm showers. Kitchen could be cleaner and there are limited outlets in your room for charging your phone at night.

  Teks is a place that any backpacker should consider. Located in the middle of a busy area with tons of attractions, the people just make it all the better

  Stayed at Tekweni a few years back and had a great time, recommended by my very good friend Richard Clarke (RIP, was a great dude). Another friend stayed there recently, Charlie Keylock - graffiti artist, he rates it highly. Five stars because it's a cool spot, and I love the responses to comments!

  Very laid-back place. The staff are cool and helpful. Attracts a young crowd. The place is neat. It's in a great location, close by to lots of nightlife and entertainment in general.

  I loved tekweni because the people where nice and welcoming and for the price that I paid I won't complain. It's also close to shops and bars and eat out places
