Non existing service on Saturday 31 March 2018. Food underwhelming - vinegary tasting patty, raw basting on the chicken wings, had to ask twice for toast with an omelette only got 2 sets of cutlery for the 4 of us, despite asking twice for the rest. So disappointed. Giving one star for the amazing view.

Avoid at all costs. Long waiting time for food 🍴🍕🍔 and atrocious service. When I complained the waiter started an argument with me. Place needs new owners and all staff fired and replaced. So sad because it's a great location and has so much potential

Buffet not available on Friday nights - different to what the menu says. Entertainer app cannot be used on Specials. Food takes long. Only great thing was the wine we took.

Had a wonderful experience! Sat at the FatCatz lounge for some cocktails and burgers from their snack menu. Absolutely fantastic. Great views and good music. Not often i lunch at the same venue two days in a row. And for the price on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays ( half price cocktails ) worth it!!

This restaurant has the ability to be one of the best in the area. Where else can you dine with the ocean beneath you. But sadly t,he service is bad, the food below standard, it gets to your table cold. Highly overpriced for what you get.

Dull Eisbein, mediocre service, the 3 course meals leave much to be desired in terms of correct portions and size. Good coffee, amazing chocolate mousse. Confusing mixture of really good and bad. One thumb down, one thumb up.

i was there on Wednesday night 26/04/2017 service was so bad the waiters name was Leon when we walked in he said he thinks the kitchen is closed then the other Chef or manager said we can order Leon took our order for our food and drinks the cocktails was half price when the bill came it showed as full price i then asked him he told me to do it myself, his attitude is so bad made us uncomfortable we came there to celebrate my friends getting engage i think management must tell him to smile and how to treat customers clearly this job is not for him. i asked him if there is any sauces he said no can you believe that.

The view is beautiful, but the service is non existing with horrific hospitality. With a 50% full capacity we have been waiting over 35min for our drinks to arrive. The table next to us walked away as they have been waiting too long for their food! The waiter arrived 25min later with their food, not realising they have already left. Totally useless service and by the looks of it management!

The food arrived just within the hour. The food quality was quite good.

Just browsing the comments of other patrons who recently visited the venue and it's kinda concerning to see and read what they say. Always loved to use Surfside as our restaurant of choice for our wedding anniversary, but these comments of bad experiences scare me off. Think I'll give it a shot one more time and experience it for myself

Was at this restaurant for the 1st time with my hubby and daughter on the 23rd of October 2016, we were very disappointed with the whole experience. The decor is outdated, the food is over priced and not fresh and very oily. The staff is very non attentive. Definitely won't be going back.
