Good food, excellent menu and a view of the False Bay that is as stunning as the location of the restaurant. But service can sometimes be a bit disappointing, especially when staff have to work double shifts. Otherwise, for most of the time the experience is pleasant.

Average food but friendly service. However, be careful not to order the rib special since it is only half a portion. In fact their portions are smaller than that of other Spur restaurants. What a pity since it is situated at a great location on Gordon's Bay Beach.

The waitress was really friendly and efficient. The food was great, and the view of the beach is amazing. They have a really nice play area as well. Probably the best Spur branch I've been to.

This Spur has one of the best locations (right on the beach) with the play area and bathrooms refurbished a year or two ago. Unfortunately this is not exploited to potential.

Unfortunately, like most other Spurs, they have bad coffee (because Spurs do not clean their machines properly and frequently enough). Like the rest of the Spurs, they also do not have proper dairy cream, but some hydrogenated palm/seed oil poison mix which they sell as "cream".

There are also not enough power points (or even workarounds with electrical cables). There is supposedly wifi, but this is of very small range and not near the very few power points they have.

The blinds are ragged, not maintained and the umbrellas on the outside area few and far between, Staff are not easily convinced to deploy these to save customers from heatstroke.

Great food, affordable prices and pleasant view. The family aura around there is very intense, you just cannot miss it. Don't go alone, bring family with a taste for good food and a taste for life! 😀

This place is so serene and tranquil- watching the sunset was beautiful. Just alongside the beach of Gordon's Bay not far from were we stayed. It is a lovely place to just relax and chill. The food was really good! It just needs to be more tidy as it's not the cleanest which is the downside..

The Spur is of average size. It has a very beautiful view over the beach and sea. The play area for the kids is also nice with lots of space. Nice to have diner there and a walk along the beach afterwards.

Excellent beach front location, without an intervening road. Friendly service. Nearby ample parking area. It is great to have an affordable place for the family right on the beach. Entrance is from the main entrance only, not from the veranda.

Despite having an amazing waiter, I was disappointed. This Spur is not up to usual Spur standards. I had a hair in my sandwich, my steak knife was rusted and dirty and my beer glass wasn't even washed. Our great wafer fixes all this, but this place definitely needs to pull up its socks.

I seldom give 4 stars for a Spur, but we stopped going to this Spur for awhile due to bad service, but they recently improved. We have been there a couple of time and their service has been consistent every time. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food good. Waiter listens to our requests.
Children play area great and there is always a staff member in area to assist in look after the children.

Very nice and cosy on the beach.child friendly as the water is very clean and shallow at times. I will say it's a family friendly beach. Put your umbrella or your gazebo up and enjoy your day. The spur is om the beach swim yourself hungry and go for your meal

I've never had a bad experience herewaiters are always friendly and efficient.
My favorite thing is that this Spur is right by the beachfrontso good after a day at the beach to just get some food or drinks.
Only problem I have is the smoking section is outside and not fully enclosed.

The place is disorganized. Breakfast and burgers were ordered. Breakfast came without toast. Burgers are dry. Sausage is still raw. Waiters are running around like headless chickens. Managers shouting at staff because they do not know what they are doing. What a disgrace
