We enjoyed a lovely weekend. Just a few suggestions. Loungers to lie around the pool. A bit more variety for breakfast and really good filter coffee on tap. The coffee was awful. Coffee is a big must. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable and staff very friendly. Dinners were lovely.

The sleeping quarters are well maintained but the food needs as lot of improvement; the meat dishes were bland and lacked any flavour; the vegetables were overcooked and the desert was hopeless.
One of the activities we did was river rafting and the instructors were rude, impatient and started swearing at some patrons who were struggling as this was their first time doing this activity;
Stonehenge in Parys South Africa is beautiful and tranquil but they need to hire a new head chef, get professional river rafting instructors and provide more variety in their barresponse / report this review -

Really nice place next to the river. Nice venue for all sorts of things. Nive place to brung your kayak and have some fun in the river.

The atmosphere is very beautiful. The sound of Vaalriver at night. There is pure fresh air.

Ample parking space. Comfortable rooms and simple setup and navigation around the place. Different things to do for old and young. Next to the river. Swimming pool and party venues. Bar and relaxing area. Friendly staff
