Great place to shop and excellent service for such a small town.
Shop at Margaret street at Ixopo which is just a small over crowded town. Spar is huge with different departments such groceries , restaurant, vegetable & fruits and tops. The shop.is near banks and ATM. Parking space is not enough due to many competitors. Till department are enough for smooth flow of line. SAPS and Justice departments on the same vicinity which dignify the area. The main R106 commonly known as Richmond road which link Eastern Cape Province and KZN.
I'm from Eastern Cape and my first stop in KZN was Spar-Ixopo,and I don't want to set my foot in that shop ever, because of moody staff at their deli, food runs out very, they refused to warm the chicken I bought from them with the amount of R57.00 ,one of your cashier #Andisiwe is the only person in the store who showed some customer care You guys have a very poor service ever .You should be ashamed of yourselves by dragging Spar name into such filthy mud.
The cashiers are very friendly and it's a very convenient place for quick shopping, with a lot of parking withing a reasonable distance
Very delighted by the white man who was promoting goods on a loud hailer inside the shop in isizulu..I mean real zulu not fana ka lo..he really shamed me at the same time because I think he knows the language better than I dobig ups to him
The is store is tidy and the staff is friendly
You can buy Groceries, pay utilities and draw money here.
Good prizes and it's clean
It has the warm of home. Ixopo is my hometown and Spar as the oldest supermarket there make me feel just that. Especially with their friendly service.
