Great place to relax and do your work. However, access to internet is a problem

What a wonderful treat! We were impressed by the beautiful surroundings, elegantly decorated rooms and the friendly staff. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the food is to die for. We’ll definitely be back .

Absolutley amazing. I can see why people choose this as a wedding venue. I was here for work purposes but really enjoyed my stay and perhaps should have extended my stay. There is no network and the internet is not so great I highly recommend this for people who want a little peace and escape from the busy city life. Do buy some of their jar goodies avaible at reception :)

Previously it was a mission opened by Trappist Monks under the leadership of Father Pfanner.. it had a brickworks and a warer mill to provide bricks for buildng mission stations in the region. These stations are situated one day's horseride apart from each other! It also has a small church on the premises. The Biggs family have converted the mission to a lovely B & B and weddings and conferences are held there. It is situated a few kilometers outide Ixopo in KwaZulu Natal.

Mixed feelings at first, as the rooms was a bit dirty with spider webs in some areas etc. But, the rooms are very spacious and has a nice fireplace in the "lounge" area. Very quiet and relaxed place, nice surroundings on the farm if you walk a bit.

The food though is delicious! Breakfast is included and dinner option is also available. Different menu every evening with very friendly service.

Bad cell phone signal, but free WIFI available in the rooms.

Amazing little gem just outside of Ixopo in a peaceful farm valley. Very modern cuisine and friendly service which was well priced. Added benefit of free outdoor activities complete with fish eagles, crowned cranes and other waterfowl. Highly recommended.
