Dilapidated buildings and restrooms, I recommend you stop elsewhere. Peeling paint, lifeless employees and a feeling of a bygone era. Everything you would need I guess is available here, food, fuel, restrooms and enough parking but the owner and staff has an obvious lack of pride in their experience. No one was friendly, and it felt like we were making life tough by stopping here. On the contrary like to Windmills station on the N3, even if I need no reason,I stop there. Free cup of coffee, and massive delicious pies and snacks. Well kept scenery and all the staff are friendly. Ultracities rate 1 out of ten against windmills.

Staff terrible. We waited for someone to refill our gas. They helped 3 others before they came to us. The were rude and unfriendly. The bathrooms were in horrifying conditions. All the toilets were leaking. The taps didn't work and those that did were held together by plastic bags. I suggest you keep on the road and try another place.

The garage is very convenient as you travel between johannesburg and pretoria. Toilets are clean. Garage is safe and the staff is friendly. Food is fresh. 5 star for convenience (in and out-fast).

We were very tired having travelled with two young children from Durban. Shell Ultra City was a most welcome stop. Service was fast, friendly and enjoyable..no problems. Everything was clean and refreshing. We enjoyed lunch at Wimpy and the kids could lose all their built up energy. When we continued our journey we could easily face the next 4 hours..You go Shell.!!!

Do Not STOP at the steers at this garage. The service is absolutely terrible. You will not be only wasting your time but your money too. The structure of the kitchen is not practical; it serves both the take away traffic and the people who are sitting down which means you will be waiting atleast 40 minutes for your food. If you want to enjoy a delicious meal with no frustrations I would suggest you calmly skip this particular steers and find the nearest wimpy.
