The site has always been our stop for coffee and w/c. the place has deteriorated-not as clean as it used to be. the Select Convenience shop had no pies, in their display, nor sandwiches and were only baking the muffins at 10am- so really nothing to offer a travellerTried the butchery to purchase some biltong- this too was shut/closed?

You get what you pay forclean large room, a lovely shower area, helpful and friendly staffI stayed here due to the previous place I booked NOT being what was displayed or served breakfasts. For R70 more..had shower AND breakfast AND a nice room to stay invery pleasant.

Monday 26th. Ladies bathrooms terrible. At least 5 without loo paper although bewildered looking cleaning lady carrying armful of rolls. Flushing levers don't work as they should, with signs telling one to push in not down.. resulting in blocked loos. Dirty floors. Flies round toilet bowls. Some hand washing taps not working. Generally run down and tired looking. Busy day not an acceptable reason. Revamp and staff training and supervision needed urgently

This is not one of those huge gas stops with 4 sit-down fast foods outlets etc. If I remember there was only a Steers & a small convenience store.
I recommend it as the it was clean. I also felt safe leaving my luggage in my vehicle unlike some of the other stops.
