Attended a wine tasting at Rustenberg. The person presenting the wines was informative and enthusiastic which made the tasting that bit more enjoyable than the average wine tasting.

The buildings and grounds are very well maintained and it is possible to take a stroll around them after the wine tasting.

Despite a stunning view and beautiful gardens, the staff were not forthcoming and did not keep our reservation. We were also disregarded due to our age and the staff did not keep our place in line because ‘we are just kids and we can wait’ in her words.

We tried the Rustenberg Sauvignon Blanc:Chardonnay:Viognier (2013) and it is delightful. Lovely crisp blend, not as dry as some South African wines can be. It's bound to become one of our favorite white wines.

Rustenberg is beautiful and the wine is very good. I liked almost every wine on the list. The guy who helped us was very friendly and litterly could not stop smiling.
