  Visited the place with few friends but we didn't like the fact that they were watering the grass when we were already at the place.

  Beautiful dam side lawn area with great open spaces and decent facilities (pool, braai areas, main building where music was playing etc).
  The sunset over the dam was majestic and the weather perfect A great place for taking the family, your friends or even hosting weddings and events.
  The facilities are maintained regularly.
  
  My only negative feedback is, that the road to the entrance is not suitable for low sedans or hot hatches, it isn't rough enough that you require an SUV or 4x4, but I wouldn't recommend going in with a sporty sedan, for example, though.
  
  There is an entrance fee of R50/person (wich is fair), but this is not displayed/advertised anywhere.
  I had a great picnic there, the vibes were really great, I've been there twice and I would go again.
