The ideal movement for client meetings and year end functions. Enough time to socialize and mingle with large groups all in one day. I would also recommend more lengthy family trips with extended families too.

Our trip across South Africa on Rovos Rail's Pride of Africa was among the best experiences of my life, nothing less! The train is exceptionally luxurious and beautiful. The staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The meals, wines, drinks, even the snacks were wonderfully prepared and presented, and plentiful. The passing scenery of hills, wildlife, secluded ranches and historic towns is constantly engaging, and the other passengers from all over the world offer a fascinating range of stories and experiences. My only regret is that we were only on the train for two nights, but the memories of that trip has us seeking other rail journeys!

Very expensive and the price performance ratio does not match. Preferred by rather older people (50+). But rooms, food and service are very good. Train stops only twice for visits. Landscape on our route from pretoria to capetown was not really nice, mostly desert and slums except flamingo lake and wine region. It is very difficult to sleep at night since it is noisy. No cigars are availabe and only standard whiskys in sortiment. Lokomotive is used only partly and for the other part of the route a normal train.

This exclusive train runs on various routs to far countries like Dar Es Salaam and cape town, its the most exclusive yet affordable train in the word where you travel in luxury and get 5 star rating service while touring the world. Definitely a must if you are a international tourist

Friendly staff. The better option against the blue train. Could be full house stars, but shop prcing way over board.
