Accommodation very comfortable, staff very pleasant and accommodating. Situated close to the Vaal river which makes a beautiful backdrop for evening drinks outside. Overall a very pleasant stay which I can recommend to folks looking for lodging while visiting the area

I have been to Riverside before for company function but this time it was for pleasure (yes, running a marathon is pleasure) :-) . The rooms are tastefully refurbished. Comfortable and clean. I like the big shower. The USB outlets next to the beds are super, and a safe that fits a laptop is great. We enjoyed good friendly service in a beautiful tranquil setting. I will be back.
PS. I turned 60 today, (5th March) and it was so nice waking up in such a nice place on my Birthday.response / report this review -

One of the best hotels I have visited, there is a residence gym, for me that tops the cake. Overall the scenery is breathtaking. Garden close to paradise. Staff are always willing to help out. The food , I was spoiled for choice delicacy is exquisite. The rooms are are spacious , extremely neat and very comfortable. Thank you, I'm most definitely going back.

Stayed at this hotel for a month October 2017 and this was a great experience!!! Food was delicious and rooms we're very clean and spacious. The staff is excellent and I made a lot of new friends. Can't wait to go back.

Great hotel on the Vaal River. This is a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings with friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and if you overlook the river, you'll think you are in paradise.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely and tasty food both breakfast and dinner and we liked the fact that there was a variety to choose from. Rooms and reception area very clean and welcoming. Staff is friendly and professional. Only downside was the TV which has very limited channels, I would suggest that you add more channels on your DSTV to accommodate your guests when they are indoors. After that I will definitely come back Thanks for all.

A beautiful resort hotel, located right on the Vaal river. Amazing service, great food and beautiful, well appointed rooms make this an awesome place to stay. Idyllic views and very modern facility. Highly recommended.

We had our company conference here. Well hosted, lovely venue and comfortable rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but I do think a little more training can be done for them to focus on the small details. Like removing plastic from food platters when setting out, clearing dishes and just generally being attentive to clients. Rooms were spacious, lovely views, clean with extremely comfortable beds!

Very peaceful and quiet, alot of activities such as swimming,fishing and boating. Vaal river located right next to hotel as the name implies so expect alot of water activities indeed.
