It's a very beautiful venue for weddings.

Unprofessional and incompetent!!!
There was so much unnecessary drama caused by this venue during my sons wedding!
From giving our wedding planner a hard time and giving none or very little assistance to the lady who brought the canapés, anyone out- sourced is made to feel very unwelcome behind the scenes.
Waiters stealing drinks the moment you move away from the table, using the bride and grooms Swarovski champagne glasses to drink our champagne when they were outside, staff attempting to steal decor off the tables, hired cutlery to the value of R2500 disappeared, paid for 140 desserts and only put out maybe 30.
All in all this venue is a joke.
We had such high hopes for this venue and was completely and utterly disappointed. AND when you speak to management all they can say is "it's not my problem "response / report this review -

Had my 21st at Riverside castle! Absolutely amazing evening! The staff were friendly - but out of the way of the celebration. Good food, safe parking with beautiful buildings and scenery. They accommodated us every step of the way for the execution of a fantastic event.

It seems to be a new place trying to get itself out there, but the food was not up to par and the waiters at the buffet lunch was not very friendly.

Awesome place for a wedding.
More than enough little corners, steps, doorways and balconies to take beautiful photos.
