Food was average, steak rather chewy. Friendly service from our waiter and we enjoyed the staff singing happy birthday to other patrons in the restaurant. The star of the show was sitting next to the window and having front row seats for the water and light show in the Board Walk pools - fantastic!

Food is cold every time we eat there, waitress was not very good, was rude once she saw her tip.
Not impressed, especially for the restaurant at ONE of our main tourist attractions and accommodation

Great breakfast special at Red Rock Spur @ the Boardwalk. Friendly and efficient waitress, good cup of filter coffee, a tasty and pleasant breakfast. .. best of all, without any stress at all! When we left the Red Rock all three of us were happy and smiling! B😊

Well I cannot complain about the service or the food, there is very few places I have visited including other Spur's that can prepare a good T bone steak Medium rare and get it to your table hot!!
What I did however not enjoy is sitting in a lovely place with good company ice-cold beer 27 plus degrees outside and the air conditioning is not working.
Somehow it can spoil your great experience.

Good staff, friendly. Food took long, but they were busy (it was Christmas). Waiting queue of 20min for a table but there were free tables (understaffed on Christmas perhaps).
Food wasn't great when compared to other spurs, nothing special and chips were a bit undercooked. Good cheesy garlic bread though. Service tried their best to make us happy.

The waiter (Luyanda) was very rude. His service was very poor. We had to remind him to bring us straws and he threw the bank card after we paid. He needs a proper training. He doesn't know how to treat a customer. I will not recommend this place to my family and friends. I will report this Hellopeter. You don't have to be a customer service expert to know that respect is an immensely important part of customer service. Being friendly and showing a respect doesn't cost a cent.

Great view of the waterfront. Waited had extensive knowledge of platters and mixed grill. The bacon and chicken salad with avo and croutons was available. They still serve the peppermint dream desert. DSTV display if both soccer and rugby. A bit quiet for a Thursday night. Strictly 10.00 pm close

I did not have a good experience at Red Rock Spur. Was shown to my table, waited 20 minutes to be served. Food took another 20 minutes to arrive. No check in by the waiter to see if the food was okay. Waited forever for the waiter to come around again. Was not offered desert. Had to ask for the bill and try to get someone's attention. Manager was nowhere to be seen and did not check in either. This is the first time I have left a Spur feeling really disappointed. Come on guys, up your game!!

Food was good. Best portions versus any SPUR before. Sirloin was soft as butter. Kids had fun in the play-pen. Waiter was on the ball. Thanks Red Rock.

Well I must say this was the best Ribs I had in a really long time Spur @ Woodlands could really learn a trick or two from you. Keep up the good work and well done to the staff. Whenever we visit Port Elizabeth again we will surely come by again.

As far as Spurs go, this one is fine. The issue is with the actual franchise - prices keep going up whilst quality and portion sizes go down. The price and quality of their ribs is particularly outrageous. If that's what you're in the mood for, go to Fernando's or Cubata instead. They'll serve you twice the portions for less money, and it will be much higher quality.

The food is good quality most of the time, however the staff could be friendlier. Generally a good atmosphere.

Good food and big portions, but I have been a few times where the service has been a bit on the slow side, especially relating to the food. Nice atmosphere and seems to be popular with families with small children

classically good food (ribs ,chops, wings) , fair prices (R150 for a good time) and good service. A all round good place to go to anytime of the day
