Absolutely wonderful staying at Rad Blu Port Elizabeth. The attention of the staff to any request is happily attended to. Guest services in the Dining area, amongst other created such a wonderful atmosphere during our stay that the "Yes I can" promise they advertise was truly met by them.

Very nice views from my room, overlooking the beach and bay area. Needs some slight work. Grout redone, plugs/over flows cleaned out. But the room was nice, restaurant was okay and had everything I needed for a few weeks.

We had the most beautiful, spacious room with an incredible view. Beds were comfortable. The service was excellent (the best we have ever experienced in all the hotels we've stayed in around the world), the staff were friendly, quick, efficient. The restaurant was great, excellent food. The location is perfect, right across from a lovely swimming beach.

Friendly staff, very good a la carte restaurant. A new spa opens at 17. of November. Very noble rooms, clean but the shower could be cleaner

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Sea facing rooms have a great view. Restaurant serves good food - more upper end, than "traditional favourites". The buffet offers a good spread and better value, but isn't as exciting as the à la carte menu. On that note, my dinner, bed and breakfast rate was cheaper than lesser hotels in the area: perhaps good timing, otherwise simply great value.
Only downsides, which can largely be overlooked: elevators don't seem to cope with large volumes of guests checking out some mornings, and a billing issue with my dinner - which was rectified the following morning by a very attentive manager.
I can see why Port Elizabeth is known as "The friendly city"!

A food budget hotel in Port Elizabeth is the Radisson Blu.
The hotel is located at the seafront with great views over the beach and only 10 minutes to the airport. The hotel is one of the biggest in town and has a good restaurant and bar with decent prices. There is a gym on the conference floor with a good set of machines and weights and it is spacious with good views. There is a outdoor pool and a good Spa. There is plenty of parking on the back as well as secure parking in the basement. The rooms are medium sized with a functional layout. There is a small desk a couch and an open area bathroom with both showers and a bathtub. All in all a good hotel if the rate is decent.

It was a good stay. Was interesting to have a smoking room, not something you get everything. Good location and great facilities to use. Windows were just very dirty which spoiled to great view that one is paying for. Its close to the ocean so its understandable, but those windows haven't been washed in more than 2 weeks.

Despite some shortcomings from the lobby (like saying there is no water restriction in PE whereas there is / allocating a double room instead of a twin, where housekeeping did not go through etc), the staff is mostly very kind and attentive, totally what is expected from a five star accommodation. The views are stunning from the upper floors of the building and it is quite a nice building to look at from the outside as well. The common areas are clean and modern. The room we got had a nice bathtub but small shower, which is a drawback when there is a water restriction and you cannot take a bath. Also, there is no curtain separating the bathroom from the living room in certain rooms, which is odd. Air conditionning works like a charm but beware that on the last floor, you will hear the noise of all the AC vents coming from the roof. My advice would be to take a room at floor 16, like the room 1602, 1604 etc. Those should represent the best compromise.

Lovely room with a king bed, the entire suite feels like home is in a room. The bathroom is wonderful with a massive bath and a shower. The room layout includes a desk and speedy wi-fi makes doing work or browsing the net quite easy. Everything is spotless and made up wonderfully. The view from the room is breathtaking looking over the ocean.

The buffet breakfast is probably the best I've had and with friendly staff to assist with your needs I'd honestly say they can take care of any of your needs.

Will most certainly be back.

Exactly what I expect from a Radisson

The only stand out here is the staff they are phenomenal

Other than that my room was amazing but I could always do with more coffee and real. Milk, you have a fridge Why not? Views from the 17th floor are great but be prepared for the a slow elevator system.

Room service is over priced as one expects, but not bad. Breakfast is to Radisson standard nothing to write home about.

The conference venue is very nice and again staff are great the AC was busted Didn't help.

WiFi Radisson have the premium service but the free included WiFi was fine 10mbs, not suitable for a video call but normal Skype and YouTube was stable.

Handy hotel close to the beach. Just out of town but near a shopping arcade and banks. Rooms nice, restaurant good enough but not great. Nice friendly staff. On site secure parking but access is very tight.

Stayed one night. Great views from clean modern room. Small but adequate gym with shower. Excellent breakfast. On beachfront so enjoy a beautiful walk if time allows.

Stayed for 10 days. Love the swimming pool. Spent many hours there. Stayed on a high floor. Beautiful views. Windows from floor to ceiling. Excellent staff. Loved the bathroom layout.
