Rengwe Guest House looks amazing on arrival with the sweeping driveway and the quad with the pool that looks inviting that you just want to sit there and relax.

However, I am rating it with only one star for the following reasons:
1. They quoted me a price without VAT and didn't make this explicitly clear in their communication, so when I arrived I had to pay more than was expected. This is just not acceptable!
2. At 11pm, we had to try to arrange for someone to bring extra toilet paper to our room as no spare was left in our room for our convenience.
3. The TV (advertised as flat screen) was a tube TV, the sound didn't work and the picture colour was very bad. The tube in the TV had clearly seen better days.
4. The cooked breakfast looked like it had been sitting on a warmer for a long time. It was dry and unappetising.
5. Rengwe Guest House claims to be a 4 star however, in my opinion, the small touches that make an establishment 4 star were missing, such as two ply toilet paper, shower gel and shampoo in the shower and attention to décor upkeep and cleaning.
