A holiday to remember. Fun for all provided by an amazing entertainment team. A house fairy to wash dishes and clean. Lots of family time. Beautiful views of the dam. Mountains, water and spa e to breathe.

excellent and outstanding location. loads of activities for kids and for the family. The dam is beautiful with a wide lots of fish (although we didn't catch) The 20km of dirt road leading to the resort makes you think twice at times.

What an amazing resort, a gem hidden in between the mountains along a section of a well maintained gravel road. Through all my travels locally and around the world, this is the first place I have been to that have thought of everything in their luxury self catering houses which are strategically placed to allow privacy. A quaint but well equipped shop, well maintained gardens and pool. Stunning bar and restaurant. Friendly, well groomed, and helpful staff. Spectacular views and I can go on. a must visit to add to your bucket list.

It's absolutely breathtaking. The views and feeling are lovely. You can swim in the river or pool. Play squash, tennis or put put. You can eat at the restaurant. The food however takes an hour and everyone gets their food about fifteen minutes apart from each other as well as drinks. The restaurant experience was quite bizarre however the food was good. If you are lucky you'll see a storm there which is quite spectacular. The sun is also quite vicious so use lots of sunblock. I would highly recommend this place and it has a great area where you can go to braai inside and have a good view of the dam.

The dirt road takes an hour from the main road, but difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
The staff are helpful and facilities are well maintained, the only problem is that the Tennis Court flood lights are not sufficient to play efficiently, unfortunately.
I went with a group of 150 people and we had hired out the boma which was perfect and cozy size.
Accommodation was good with amazing views all round. Well worth for a weekend getaway 💃🏻response / report this review -

A wonderful family resort in the heart of Berg and Bush country. Isolated from any urban features Qwantani offers peace and quiet in a retreat that offers everything for a family getaway. On the shores of the Sterkfontein dam one can take in the awesome fresh air while boating, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and so much more. In high season we were able to take part in a full programme of fun activities hosted by the very pleasant resort staff. What an amazing gettaway!

Had a disappointing stay here. Roads to get in were bad and worse inside the resort to get to the room. Rooms were very dusty, but well furnished. Although this place is pretty expensive most games/activities were charged as an extra fee. The Wi-Fi never worked, even in the conference room. We called before we booked and was told there is Wi-Fi in the rooms, however when we arrived we were told it hasn’t ever worked in the rooms. There was also no cell reception on any of our phones with different providers.

Quiet, out the way of all the hussle and bussle, the residents are quiet and respectful, the staff are helpful, beautiful views, even in bad weather this place is paradise for a break.

I stayed here with my family for 4 wonderful days. The rooms in the chalets were exquisite. The service was wonderful. The restaurant was great. We went hiking around the resort and took a boat excursion out on the lake. Top notch. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Where horses and ostriches pop in for breakfast! A place far from the madding crowd. The perfect place to relax in tranquility and serenity. Warmth and hospitality from the staff and management were awesome.
