Staff are friendly and very helpful. Facilities are rustic and well maintained. Birdhide a pleasure at night.

The bungalows are rather small, but clean. Rather go for the tented camp. It has a beautiful view over the landscape.
I was not impressed with the restaurant(personal feeling). the shop does have the basic food supplies. You can obtain fuel for your car.
Go and visit Crook's corner(SA, Zimbabwe and Mozambique).
Visit the border post Pafuri, between SA and Mozambique.
Have at the picnic site, a picnic, which is next to the Limpopo river. Here you can see crocodiles and Hippos.
Plenty of different animals has been observed. Here I have seen the first time in my life lions pairing.

Small and quiet camp. Basic but clean rooms. Campsites perfect for viewing game up close.

Very nice camping spots, has a swimming pool. Awesome viewing deck to a waterhole saw a leopard every night at 20:00. Wide variety of wild animals. It's a must and the camping site is nice and quiet.

The camp has the old Kruger charm but the camp needs refurbishments.
The restaurant is simple, food not great with a small choice.
We stayed in a tent which was much better than expected but still out-dated. The surroundings of the camp are great for bird viewing. The S99 and the Pafuri loop are great!!

Wonderful experience on arrival! A herd of approx 25 elephants literally galloped to the waterhole where we were sitting in the hide.

The rooms could do with some TLC. Staff extremely friendly. Food choices are limited and expensive. Burgers are the best choice. Good overall experience.

A smaller rest camp still with the old style bungalows and charm. Newer tented chalets are secluded. A well stocked shop. Restaurant with in and outdoor dining. A small swimming pool. Fuel available. Dusty camping ground with good ablutions. The hide overlooking the water hole is also floodlit at night. A 1,2 km Flycatcher trail offers short walking opportunity.

What a wonderful camp. It still has the old Kruger charm. Camp is run well. Lovely restaurant. The gate guard Reagan is really awesome nice to chat with if you walk to the gate at night. Look out for the Genet at night.

Excellent camp. More old-world than other camps. Had charm and a more peaceful ambience. Excellent water-hole. Simple little restaurant. Shop just adequate. Excellent bird life. Lots of elephants and Buffalo. Well worth a visit.

A birders paradise! Camping and chalets are great, beautiful surroundings and a lovely walking trail. Animals regularly come to drink at the water hole and the hide makes for great viewing.

an awesome camp - we love visiting punda maria, the staff are very friendly and the camp is a beauty. Lovely wildlife watching hide located in the camp, pools, and a beautiful trail to walk in the camp. The ablutions are always well kept, and the camp site has loads of space and trees.

Smaller than some of the other camps, but clean and the restaurant was surprisingly enjoyable.

    Camping in July 2016
Our family had a fabulous time at Punda Maria, friendly staff, helpful, old ablusions but always clean, very nice restaurant for a light meal, shop fully stocked, to meet the needstake a long extention cord (30m)for electricity and bucket to tranport clean water. Went on a night drive and followed a leopard to a kill. Wow! The guide was very informative.well done, lots of game and enjoyed every minute! Will Definately visit and stay again!
