The best stop on the N3! Awesome coffee, clean toilets and clean baby changing facilities. I always make a plan to stop here on my way to Durban from JHB.
The children had a blast. There so much for them to do. Train rides, animals to see and jungles gyms to play on. Also, nice place for the parents. There is nice Pizza restaurant and a curio shop.
Great outdoor space and play area for kids. Relaxing atmosphere for a journey break.
Clean bathrooms.
Nice modern gas station.
Would rate 5 stars if there were more affordable and varied food options.
Very clean and great looking filling station. Ok grocer store is one of the best I have ever seen. The places to sleep over looks modern and newly built. Worth it to stop at this service station. Would stop there again.
I love this place and they have done the place really well. It is clean and comfortable and actually quite pretty. Also has a very good service station for fuel as well as an OK Express and restaurant. Little known I think as it was a lot quieter than the other stops along the N3 and well maintained and enjoyable. Thanda Tau would be an excellent place to stop overnight on the way to or from the Coast, with what look like very cute and interesting chalets next to the service station and restaurant.
Great place . Gardens. Whole appearance. Small eatery and coffee shop. Great staff. I loved it.
This garage is a really good stop on your way to KwaZulu-Natal. It's a really unconventional garage since there is a sleep-over motel and a wildlife enclosure with exotic animals, such as Puma's and Emu's. They have the most beautiful coffee shop with a spectacluar view.
This place is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. It’s not very busy (or wasn’t when we visited) and the se vice was super efficient and friendly. The restaurant attached to the station gave quick service and the food was good. Nice rest stop.
We stopped for breakfast. Sat outside on the deck, which overlooks pretty gardens and lawn with water features and play area for kids. Quick friendly service in the restaurant and the omelette and coffees were good. Clean toilet facilities. High quality finishers throughout, tastefully done. Interesting little shop with some tempting things to buy.
What an amazing petrol station. If you need to stop, this is the place. Got great food and awesome service. It is neat and clean. Very beautiful place.
Lovely neat and quiet place. Friendly staff and ideal for a quick stop. Make sure to visit the visitors centre next door.
Very clean, secure place to stop for fuel. Quick service. Other shops on the premises are nice to visit. Everything you need for a stopover.
Clean, friendly petrol attendants, lovely restaurant and baked goods. Hand crafted gift sold here. Beautiful place to sit outside. Best cappuccinos and exceptional rest room
Very relaxed and a good coffee break for along journey. Farm style fresh treats are baked on the premises but the highlight are the big cats. Interact with lion cubs or view Lions, Pumas, Cheetahs and more
Non mainstream fuel brand in South Africa; yet one of the best I have had the pleasure of visiting. Perfect to stop over for a break or a night or two. Dog lovers will be impressed too as they have place for walking your dog and your dogs can receive themselves too - Also, bowls of water for the four legged friends.
Great place to stop! Wow
Major revamp of kiosk and shop recently completed, very smart with modern fittings but still with the original farm / rustic feel. An ideal spot to stop or stay on the way to Durban. Especially with children but be wary of the water feature nearby their play area, some sort of barrier to stop the small children would be helpful.
I will not support this establishment because it keeps wild animals for entertainment and for petting. Shame on people who contribute to this cruelty and exploitation. #BanCubPetting #CaptivityKills #CaptivityIsCruel
Five star stop between Johannesburg and Drakensberg . Wild animals to be seen. Good food.
What a find! Definitely a stop over here is needed by all! Wild life, craft beer, freshly baked bread! Need I say more?
