This is a safe place to bring your family for a picnic or photo shoot! I love taking pictures here because space is ample and each part of the gardens has something different to offer. :) entrance is R30 per adult.

What a beautiful, peaceful place. Great for any occasion whether it be family oriented or team-building or just a romantic picnic. This is the place to go.

The park was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did a one of their trail walks around the gardens. The view at the top is terrific. They have a restaurant, but you can bring in a picnic if you want. It was a great morning out and a lovely place to support if you looking for something to do with your family that won't break the bank.

What a lovely place to spend a Sunday. Pack a picnic or visit the restaurant. There are so many beautiful trees to sit under and just become one with nature. Perfect place for kids to be real kids and run around and play and explore. Well worth a visit

Great spot to have a picnic. Just bring a gazebo on a sunny day. There are many trees. But the good spots usually fill up fast. There's also some bird life to spot. Unfortunately dogs on leashes aren't allowed.

Nice break from the city noise. Well kept pathways, very good restaurant on premises. Or take a picnic basket and enjoy a day out in nature. Restrooms are very clean and the entrance fee is quite inexpensive.

The botanical gardens are lovely but a bit run down in parts. It is a great venue for concerts and markets though. I suspect most don't walk the paths but it is pleasant to do so. There are many benches on the walks and it's easy enough to sit and have a coffee and sandwich on a walk

We loved every bit of the day spent there! It really feels like you are out of the city while there. The staff are all very friendly. the grounds are well kept and the different fauna and flora are a sight to see. The entrance fee is affordable, considering what the upkeep must cost.

Beautiful. Lots of open space. Not expensive.
Can go for really lovely walks. Picknicks the best. Get there early to get the best spots.

    very unprofessional.
    staff does not listen.
managers do not give notice about events being held during the same time as another planned event.
some staff can be found sleeping on the couches in the restaurant.
event organisers do not heed any requests.
    would not recommend.

A lovely visit. There are a large network of foot paths, crisscrossing the garden with a great variety of plants and different biotopics. Near the entrance, you can just sit down on a blanket in the shade of a tree and relax. There are multiple restaurants and a nice waterfall. I could easily have spent an entire day in here if I had the opportunity.

A wonderful place right in the heart of Pretoria. It is a perfect place to take family and friends for the day and relax surrounded by nature. Beautiful layout. Very reasonable rates. Live concerts are always entertaining.
