Great place for the kids and adults alike. Good services. Clean and very relaxed. Also very affordable.
I love water and swimming it's my thing. Basically that place it's really cool with especially the water slides. It's a great experience and adventurous, you can relax with family and friends, have a braai or picnic.
Amazing place just shocked to have to buy tickets on computicket, as they don't do on site ticket sales. But overall.. the place is beautiful, Service of the highest quality, clean, more than enough life guards..
Nice family outing. The kids definitely enjoyed the slides.
You can bring your own braai meat and have a fantastic day.
We will come again.
A beautiful, clean, well-managed self-catering water resort with a few critical shortcomings: The management take their policy of not allowing glass bottles on the premises a touch too far. Right off the bat, at the entrance, patrons are forced to queue like children and forced to decant literally every drop of sauce, every bit of spice, salt or pepper from the original glass containers into plastic cups. Those who refuse to do so are given the option of leaving their condiments at the gate.
A "no-glass" policy makes perfect sense to me to protect patrons from broken cooler, wine or beer bottles that could potentially be tossed about by drunk, ill-mannered litterbugs. A blanket ban on literally all forms of glass, however, strikes me as needlessly extreme and also not very easy to enforce. Beer, wine and cooler bottles are typically emptied on the spot during a braai by those consuming the alcohol and then often dropped on the ground. Chutney, spice or tomato sauce bottles do not. Patrons hardly ever finish all of their salt, all of their pepper or all of their mustard and they don't typically leave these laying about when they leave. While accidents do happen, I should think in those rare cases where a butter-fingered patron did manage to drop their bottle of All Gold on the ground, this could easily be dealt with by the clean-up crew.
Ironically, despite this draconian preoccupation with patron safety, the resort fails to impress. The largest attraction on the premises was poorly designed and built, and is dangerous in places. Several members of our party were scraped, bruised and even cut on this slide, and one had to receive first aid from Management for a bleeding cut under his big toe. Some of the life guards are also in desperate need of retraining, and need to be taught that when bathers approach them for assistance, they should not respond with "What?!" The polite response in most civilized establishments is something along the lines of "How may I help you?"
Be sure to bring none of your own alcohol, but all of your own food, and plenty of sunscreen. The only shop on the premises sells beer, coolers and spirits and their take-away menu is limited to five types of toasted sandwich and instant coffee. Older patrons should bring their glasses, because the shop has only one printed and laminated A4 menu and spirits list available to pass around.
Lovely well upkept place..Had so much fun spending the day with my girlfriend..Lovely to bring your kids with and enjoy a fun day out in the sun
A fantastic place for a picnic/braai or even water based games.
There are plenty of covered areas for shade on a sunny day - and an equal number of braai stands to match.
All pools are somewhat shallow - estimating the deepest to be around 1.4m deep. So if you’re looking for a deeper pool then perhaps try somewhere else. In addition to this, the paved area around the pool gets extremely slippery when wet (just not certain if it was only on the day we visited the resort).
Its kids friendly lots of water for them to enjoy ,not 2 Crowded and also fully accommodative for adults to,its in a chilled area an easy accessibility.
We went there today. It was very very nice. I would defently come back. It is a very good d place for family's to enjoy. One thing I would say. Just make the stairs less steep. But other than that. A lovely place to go and spend the day at. Well done.
I am extremely disappointed with the lifeguards at this place. Lazing around and blowing their whistles. I was questioned as to why am I not stopping kids from climbing up the rockery by the kids pool. That's not my job. Not my kids. Then they whistling at my 2 year old. Like that will catch her att. Then I get told she can't slide on her tummy down the kiddies slide (feet first might I add). Never in my life was I ever told that. Not at any forever resorts nor at any local pools. This was really a miserable experience and I will never go again.
If I could put no stars I would.
Nice place to spend the day. Pools and bathrooms clean, grounds well maintained. Lots of staff on hand. Our daughter cut open her chin getting out the pool (not their fault, just one of those things) and staff were really good and there is a medical room and nurse who assisted us on site. Thank you!
Very nice for the family and to relax. Prepare to go early as it is really popular.
They have a rude staff and they ill treat their guests. Not impressed at all by this place. The water is nice, but once you have received bad treatment, you won't enjoy a thing.
Awesome spot to chill with family or friends. Nice facilities available. The only thing that would make it better was if the shop would sell some ready made fast food.
Simply the best! Great green semi secluded area. Kids of all ages have tons to do. The facilities are best.
