  A disappointing experience both food and service wise. The change in management has not been good for this establishment. We ordered 5 Cappuccinos and the milk was distinctly sour in all of them. When we alerted management we were obstinately told that this was not the case and the milk was very fresh. which it clearly was not. The chips were fried in old oil. The toasted sandwiches were minuscule and lacking in substance. Overall a disappointing experience.

  This is a nice little restaurant in Dullstroom if you want a quick meal.
  The venue is comfortable and, as we were there during a bit of a cold spel, it was nice and warm.
  The service was good, we were one of 3 tables and our server seemed to be doing everything but cooking the food.
  The food was good too. My partner had some trout and it was quite nice. I had the lamb burger and this too was quite tasty and very sausy.
  In summary a nice venue with good food and friendly service. Nothing overly fancy but well worth a visit.

  Had a lovely experience here, the quiche and toasted sandwiches are really good, food not very expensivethe waitors were very friendly and they looked after us, the manager is also active in the establishment checking up on everything including usa must for anyone passing through dullstroom

  Pickles and Things became my ‘second’ office for our weekly meeting there and their wi-fi is free. I am very impressed with Pickles and Things. The food is fresh and delicious.
  
  There is a nice bunch of friendly young people that man the shop and they are always ready to offer their good coffee. The shop in Dullstroom features a coffee roastery that roasts daily and has very loyal customer base.
  
  There is a lovely pole ceiling that covers the large outside veranda from which one can survey almost all of Dullstroom. Many travellers pass through here on their way to other destinations, so there’s always the roar of cars and motorbikes going through the town, but in general this is a serene little place warranting a visit.
  
  In winter they have fires burning and you just want to spend the whole day there
  
  Because of our meeting that are early morning (They open at 07h00 already), breakfast is my favourite meal here especially the Boerewors Breakfast with pap and gravy.
  
  I had a couple of times a burger which is always fresh and delicious. The blue cheese burger is a winner
  
  They have a separate area selling all kinds of interesting items including jams, sauces etc
  
  Next time you plan a trip make an effort to stop here for coffee and something to eat and in future you will find an excuse to return to Pickles and Things

  Awesome coffee! Ask for their signature blendits so strong they dont allow it to be served as a double. Simply delicious
