Only gave them 1star because I had too. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I don't know where those good reviews came from because this place is not 1 star worthy. The wifi they have sucks unless you are literally at the front of the hotel. The food was mediocre, need to make a local call well it will costs you R5 per minute. The sheets were badly stained, room smelled funny. The good thing is that the grounds are kept very clean. DO NOT STAY HERE IT'S A P.O.S

The first thing I loved about Petra Lodge is it's homely settings. The grounds neatly kept and so clean. The staff is very friendly, efficient. Service is good, rooms are spacious.

Good neat n nice place to sleep for a transit. WiFi dint work, the dint work. It don't make a big difference to me because I was just there to sleep overnight to catch my next flight. For transit passengers, good value for money. They have free breakfast n shuttle every hour to the aiport.. good staff too. Its at a 15 min drive from airport.

Fabulous place! Petra Lodge is simply one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited!
The staff were so kind and friendly.. The lodges are very clean and comfortable, the service is excellent, the food and desert were DELICIOUS and the view and atmosphere are just Amazing!
I rate them a straight five stars and would definitely recommend it to my family and friends ♥ Keep it up guys!

I wouldn't recommend it, even as a backpacker. It didn't feel safe to me, and the staff was not accommodating to my concerns. I wouldn't return.

Good for budget travelers wanting a step up from backpackers accommodations. Helpful staff, free shuttle, pool, outdoor sheltered lounges. Basic gym equipment and indoor lounge. Cafeteria with cooked breakfast.

Place is very neat and tidy.
It's super cold in winter as none of the rooms heaters/ AC's are working.
No remote for the TV too.
Staff are nice and friendly though :)
