The reserve is a very family friendly spot to lay back and watch the kids open up their lungs. However if you're one for a little adventure then this spot has you covered as well. With a few trails that will definitely get your heart pumping. Along the way you will be treated to a lovely little river and some cool rock formations, but the main attraction is the waterfall. It takes a little bit of a walk but the reward is profound. A gorgeous drop of water that one can have upon for quite a while. All in all a great family spot an recommend by me
It's a beautiful place to relax and also has good trails, very good picnic area, if you are early you can grab a table. Definitely good place to visit.
Good family outing for the day. A small 15 minute trail to a waterfall. The whole family enjoys it. You can stand under the waterfall and enjoy natures true beauty. Go early in the day so the family enjoys the whole day. The park closes at 4pm. Adults pay r15 and children r11.
It is a very good place for people who would like to spend time peacefully and enjoying with family, friends and others You wanna feel how it feels to braai meet in place like forest. Paradise Valley is the place
Disappointing. Beautiful waterfall, but the scenary is short live due to overcrowding and extensive litter! It's so sad to see such a beautiful place being ignored! The pictures speak itself.
Special place to enjoy Crowded on holidays.. Green gardens around the falls
The park is absolutely lovely but gets unbelievably busy during popular times of the year. The trails need to be cleaned more frequently and marked more clearly as it is quite difficult to navigate through the more difficult routes. The park staff are very strict when it comes to playing ball games, music and alcohol as they are not tolerated at all which I guess can be a draw card for some but a deterrent for others. That being said. Many of its patrons do not adhere to these rules until one of the staff intervenes.
Wonderful to have a day out. Waterfall and small hiking routes. Seating area is provided to eat and chill. Alot of space for parking.
We started off with the trail, walking along the river crossing over the bridge. Marvelling over our creator's creation, the beauty of the water rippling downwards with the evergreen trees and grass in the background. Whilst the lazy winter sunshine on the big banana leaves, leaving a bit of a sparkle. The path we took, a little bumpy as we crossed along the forest. The river, although small had a soothing sound which calmed the mind and heart. Our excitement and eagerness was still to come when we heard the roar loud enough for us, wondering where is the waterfall? As we came close, our eyes could not believe the magnificent sight of the crushing sound of water spilling over the rock cliff forming one of earth most wonderful sights!
To truly recognize our creator, is to marvel at His creation.
What a find! We went for a kids birthday part and found a treasure of a walking trail with a waterfall and great views.
Excellent scenic park and natural area. Beautiful picnic spots. Great for hiking
Great scenery, walks and very relaxing. Great place for the kids who like the outdoors.
Great area to relax with the family. The hiking trail was very deserted at some points. Saw a snake and a dassie as well. Trail is maintained at most points. Overall was a good experience.
