A great place to spend the day if you intend to walk in the hills take some water and proper shoe's. Lots of places to have a picnic, seeing that the local restaurant closed down.

If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favour and go take a stroll in the bot gardens or better yet, take a picnic.
Go for a wonder, yes I spelt that wrong intentionally, there are lots of hidden pathways and kids love the open space.response / report this review -

Beautiful gardens and an awesome day- outing destination for kids during their school holidays. Remember to take bread to feed the ducks, fish and terrapins.
Lots of Ingress portals and missions too. No pedal bikes are allowed but balance and pushbikes are permitted.response / report this review
