Nice place to stop off the highway for some peace and quiet. The Chinese New Year's festival is a huge blast.

This was my second visit to the temple, still as beautiful and breathtaking. The place makes you feel like you are on another part of the world. The architecture is brilliant, it’s quiet and calming. This place is a must visit.

Breathtakingly beautiful. This temple and its ground are serene and make you feel as if you are not in South Africa.

The little museum is intriguing and everyone is so welcoming.

Chinese New Year festivities here are not to be missed, with various stalls, insense ceremonies, meditation, cultural dances, dragon dance, and reading of karma.

All food is vegetarian but really delicious and authentic.

An incredible cultural site to visit. A temple worth visiting for the experience. They host many different Chinese Cultural events here and they are always well attended and worth the trip.

My first time visiting. It was wonderful! Beautiful, peaceful and magnificent. Do not expect an actual tour. You basically move about on your own which is fine but a tour during which you can learn would be a good idea. Had noodle soup at the tea room which was super. There is no entrance fee. Wear shoes that you can take off easily and often.

Serene place. Great spiritual experience. . Need to be there by morning 9 and be ready to spend 2 to 4 hrs for meditation and prayer. Please dont rush. Eastern dressing may be better to match to the environment. Sunday at 12 o clock vegetarian lunch is available which is also a nice experience. Also there is a cafeteria. Overall great relaxing experience.

What a beautifull place, it feels like you aren't even in South Africa. Tranquil, clean and accessible. Left with so much respect for the culture

Quiet and serene. Very tranquil but the grounds need more attention. If you're looking for a religious experience you might be impressed. Not for individuals seeking to understand the history of the culture

Visited over many years, really miss the brilliant restaurant in the guest house, now over priced & extreme spicy 2 min noodles & no unique refreshments. U pay R64 toll frm/back Pretoria excl fuel, Temple lovely & unique but lots of walking with no benches. Open door policy being spoilt by undesirable persons visiting. Gone frm an open pleasant place to fenced in & do's & don'ts signs.

Love this place! It's a very unique Asian experience in the heart of South Africa. Definitely a place of peace and serenity. The large temple is just so stunning. A real spiritual experience indeed!
