A visit to the Rockwood Theatre, previously the Barnyard theatre, is always a great experience. Excellent music productions in a relaxed atmosphere provides for a great outing. Seating at tables set the table for bringing your own eats or ordering from the counter. Drinks from outside are not allowed but is available from the bar. A big cheer to the owner Tom and his team!
Awesome atmosphere with friendly enthusiastic staff, accompanied by the fact that there is food, coffee, drinks etc to order (which can be brought to where you are seated inside). Stage cast is lively, with the talented Vernon Barnard forming part of the cast. Also won a bottle of wine, great experience
We've watched a lot of shows here in the past. The cast have become a little sloppy when it comes to choreographed dancemoves. The food is becoming rediculously expensive. As far as we know, it is not Barnyard anymore.
So many awesome shows. Prices are good.
Uncomfortable chairs. Take a sitting cushion if you struggle sitting on hard surface chairs.
One hit wonder show a must see.Talented cast. Enjoyable night out.
I enjoy a moving church service here each Sunday. Bless you all.
Very disappointed in Theuns Jordaan show. A lot of fans came to listen to Afrikaans his own songs. Not tributes! Guess you don't need us! !!
Current show (90's Mania) has good instrumentals, even drummer, apparently very good vocals also, pity they are hard to hear due to over emphasis of instrumentals, particularly percussion. Some songs unrecognisable until a familiar phrase is heard. Show needs new musical director. Not the best show I've attended at the Barnyard, could improve with attention to sound. Another thing - announcement of artists' names sounds like just another call centre operator "I couldn't care a damn whether you hear my name or not". Do it propetly or drop it.
