What a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable 2 night stay. Was looking for a quiet cozy get away from city life, and got exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for an awesome stay.

Set in a mountainous area, this little gem offers everything: great hiking trails, graded towards all ages and levels of fitness; a delightful dam for swimming and fishing; outdoor games; a large variety of board games for cold evenings; tea and eats every afternoon; charming hosts.Definitely a return visit for us.

Amazing cabins, camping and caravaning facilities which are very suitable for family and friends. And to top it off excellent outdoor activities and hiking trails on their farmstead!

We are at present caravanning at Mount Park Guest Farm in the Dargle Valley. What a wonderful place to camp in the country - magnificent views, large well grasses sites (tad uneven but you are in the country!) 2 ablutions - one cosy country and the other industrial, both spotless. Dam for flyfishing and boating. Meals can be ordered to be delivered to the site or eaten in their restaurant. Friendly atmosphere just cannot be beaten Ian and Sally are amazing hosts. They have a FB page. Highly recommended!

The loveliest place for a big family getaway! All 26 of us stayed in one house! Quite rustic but the lovely couple are slowly upgrading.

What a brilliant time I had. The guest farm is in a beautiful location. The cam pinging sites are lovely though do need leveling a bit. Ablutions are neat and tidy and clean. The farm is being extended and upgraded with no disruption. The best are the owners who had to rescue me one evening when I got lost and ran out of petroleum in my scooter. There are hiking trails, maps supplied at reception. Pre prepared frozen meals are available (including vegetarian). You can arrange breakfast and coffee. A lot of thought has been put into supplying comforts as shops are not very close.
24 August - 15 September:
I love this place and the people so much that I decided to return for 3+ weeks. I am in a motorhome and travel long term. One problem for me was the lack of a laundry sink for bedding but I took advantage of the fact that this place offers accomodation and I had my bedding and blankets washed and iron for me. Yeah!
I also gave them a heads up that I am a vegetarian and would like some permafrost meals and could they accommodate me. Oh yes, and the following was made and eaten:
Pumpkin and feta quiche
Lentil bobotie
Creamy veg lasagne
Tomato and eggplant bake with onion and mushroom
This is not in order of yummyness. They were all delicious.
And just for a bit of drama one off my cats got sick and I do not have a vehicle. Guess what? I was taken to a vet in Howick.

Great spot with stunning scenery. The permanent caravan is a great way to camp. Service is friendly. There is however currently only one ablution block with 1x bath & 1x shower on the camping side but it looks like there's a lot of ongoing work to upgrade facilities at the moment.
