First of all I just want to state that I didn't hate the place at all so much as my fiance and I hated the owner/ managers attitude .
We were driving past this establishment as I had seen it on the website and on wedding venues PTA and thought we had to stop and see it because it truly looked beautiful .
Once we arrived I told the lady at the reception that we hadn't made an appointment but would like to know whether we could view the place , the young lady then said of course we could and she herself took us through the place and showed us everything, that's where we learn there was a wedding happening that very afternoon so seeing the venue fully kitted out ready for a wedding was a wonderful bonus.
It was then that we were approached by an old woman who plainly asked us " who are you ? " I gave her our names and said we were viewing the venue for our wedding and she said " Leave , we have a wedding now this afternoon and I don't want the bride seeing random people walking around "
I was so shocked my this ladies rude remark that my fiance and I told the young woman showing us around that we would prefer to leave as the " old woman " just told us we were not welcome there .
Now at this point before the old lady's remark my fiance and I were seriously considering hiring that venue for our wedding as it is extremely beautiful but after the disrespectful way in which the manager spoke to us there isn't a chance that I would want to have my happy day there. So thanks to your sour attitude Ms, you just lost out on some good business .

Firstly thank you for responding to my review however , when we approached the gate and rang the bell, and it was opened, that cannot be our fault. There should have been someone at the gate ( A security guard, or usher )with a list of whoever should be allowed in and not allowed in on that day, if it was so important to you to keep check of who is entering the premises, that is something you should have monitored more closely. I have been to multiple wedding venues without an appointment and not one of them treated us the way you did, every single one of them were accommodating, polite and exuded 5 * customer service, appointment or no appointment , you need to learn how to treat people, and uphold the standards I'm sure the owners expect of their establishment, not tarnish their name.
The least you could have done was speak to us with with respect, explain the situation in a much nicer tone and then make alternative arrangements to come for a viewing at an "appropriate" time, not dismiss us like we were beggars off the streets, it is totally fine that you don't care about losing my wedding business but I don't think the owners of that establishment would be too pleased with the way in which you treat potential clients. Every client whether booked or not should be treated the same way.
Secondly, the young lady at reception whether at fault or not for showing us through the venue should be the manager as she has the right attitude to customer service and you Madam do not especially considering you aren't either the owner or manager of the premises.
She could have either told us " sorry we are not taking any viewings right now,because we have a wedding in progress, please can we reschedule" or she could have done what she did,and show us through the venue anyway, because she viewed us as potential business and throughout she remained polite, energetic, calm and extremely helpful. The fact that you also chose to shout at her in full view of us as we were leaving, is just totally unprofessional, as far as I am concerned she was just doing her job.
I may be one client that was extremely dissatisfied by your demeanor and you see it as okay to speak to me as though my business doesn't matter just because you have other clients who have paid you , but you should treat every client with respect..response / report this review -

Friends & i spent a weekend away recently @ this beautiful tranquil & Rustic venue. The attention 2 detail with regards 2 their furnishings & decor inside & outside were clearly meticulously sourced & displayed.for the pleasure of guests 2 experience & view. Thank you 2 both the owner & staff who were pleasant & friendly. Definitely a little country hideaway i would love 2 return 2 soon!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Such an amazing venue and lovely people to assist you on the day. Had our wedding there recently and the compliments from other guests just came rolling in! Beautiful venue, amazing food and outstanding service - a winning combination if you want to have a great wedding!
