Received a very friendly welcome by the parents of the manager of the establishment (it's a family business). They were able to assist us with everything from a braai tang to a container to store our meat. We stayed in the family unit and had access to the main kitchen, a stoop and a beautiful garden (with some unique trees that the owners were able to tell is more about). Internet connection was strong and the DSTV package had many channels to choose from, there was even a wooden chess set, ample plug points, and a jar of biscuits next to our kettle. The beds were very comfortable and the unit spacious. The decor and furniture style in the rooms are very dated but it is very tastefully arranged and when you find out that all the furniture was skillfully handmade by the owner there is much to be appreciated. The unit and everything in it was also impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious and flexible (you can choose exactly what you want, how you want it, and when you want it), the bacon is especially excellently made; there was even enough choices to keep the vegetarian staying in our unit happy.

Wonderful stay. Friendly people. Every time I thought, I wonder if they have they did. It's maybe not the taste of someone that insists on modern, but you can't beat the "home" feeling. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Will stay there again.

Excellent rooms and service! breakfast is served to you in your room. the decor is beautiful. only down side is poor wifi coverage in rooms. but thats being picky overall 5 stars!
