Lovely hotel staff are super friendly & the barman Lebo pours the best gin & tonic & the Jagermeister shots are generous served in a glass & not those awful little plastic things.

The pictures definitely are misleading about the hotel. Not sure about its 4 star rating. Maybe a 2 star. The pictures on the website lead you to believe it's a resort and thatvthe rooms are much bigger. Not a resort. Rooms are quite small. Breakfast area leaves much to be desired with the guest toilets leading right into the dining room. Definitely not a hotel for kids.

I had an incredible experience at this hotel. Dinners were very well prepared. We had a fire lit every evening by the friendly staff who brough our dessert up to the room after dinner. Bedding was comfortable bar the old spring mattress. The wooden furniture in the rooms added to the sheek, farmhouse charm of the establishment.

This hotel has got amazing views, but it is in serious need of rooms updating, maintenance and as it looks very much out of date. The breakfast can be improved as well as crockery, glasses used for serving the choice of juice. I had picked without knowing a broken glass for my juice and this small details must be look after for the safety of the guests.

I enjoyed myself and hospitality was amazing I felt like home. Lebo he and Lebo she, Mpho he and Mpho she as well as Eric made my stay feel like heaven on Earth!!

Lovely hotel with absolutely amazing views. Great servicealso serve breakfast and dinner. Fireplace in room makes it a romantic getaway in winter

Loved the hotel. Would have thought I was in Scotland once again. The people are lovely, staff is friendly and helpful. Nice place to get out of town for a weekend.

Good hotel. Neat and clean. The only issue is that it's not located in the central square of Clarens. Breakfast is average.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a short break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's like the home with the butler you never had! Relax, revive and be inspired to live again. well done guys!
