The owner is friendly, Breakfast was great, it is a stunning farm and the linen was clean. BUT We stayed in the 3 bedroom self catering unit, it is in a shocking state. It urgently needs upgrading especially the bathroom. Curtains falling off the rails(very old) and the bathroom mats needs to be thrown out. We would rather pay more for decent accommodation 😕 but can unfortunately not recommend these units to guests who attend weddings in Chrissiesmeer

The place is tranquil. The view of the lake is breathtaking. The host is hostitable. The rooms are majestic. The price, affordable.

Very basic. Friendly staff, but owner was somewhat aloof. Forest is gorgeous, sunset of the lake is fantastic, but this sleepy location leaves something to be desired.
