The stay was lovely. The camping grounds are well kept and neat. Just remember your own braai grid. Even the dog enjoyed the trip!

This looks like a great camping venue. It's in a beautiful part of the Lowveld area. Plenty places to go visit from this base, but not having camped there I can't review the place itself, but I will give it a try if the opportunity presents. I used it as a starting place for a cycle ride.

What a weekend!!! We were allocated a room next to the river and we were sitting outside enjoying the noise of the water. Quite and relaxing venue to escape from the rate race of the city. Will definitely visit Merry Pebbles again. Owner is not always of the friendliest but over look it and you have a blast of a time there. We loved the Hot Water Pool

Probably one of the best camping spot in South Africa. The camp terrain is very clean and cozy. Huge open grass for the kids to run. Try to book in early to get a spot on the river. Stunning huge trees givin a lot of shade. Pro Tip: Book in early to get one of the best camping spots. Please like this post if this helped you in any way.

Huge resort well kept. Does not offer monthly rates for pensioners. We visited on a week day & there were only 2 campers.

A wonderful resort, well run, the owners themselves work at reception. Always clean, hot water, beautiful surroundings. Definitely the ebst campsite I have ever stayed in. Oh yes, have I mentioned the big spacious stands?

Would be five star if bikes were welcome. Great hike to Bridal Veil Falls. Owner was attentive and noted that we had not returned by closing time and waited till we were back before leaving.

Very beautiful resort. Camp sites are spacious. The shop and restaurant has everything you need. There is also a liqour store. Lots to do for the kids. Only downside is there seems to be a water problem.

We camped two nights in the Merry Pebbles Resort as part of our visit to the Blyde River Canyon area.

The location is very nice (in front of a small mountain, where a river flows), clean and calm. They have plenty of facilities including pools, shop and restaurant.

Keep in mind that during the month of June - winter - nights can be pretty cold in this area, so get some wood and have the BBQ ready!

Quite a nice, quaint resort. Perfect for camping with young children. I did find that the pictures online were not exactly as flattering in real life as they seemed when I googled the resort. But friendly staff and a nice laid back vibe.

In town, but far from the madding crowd. Very well protected, peaceful and spacious caravan sites. A little piece of paradise! The staff are very kind and helpful. All amenties are on site but if you choose to go out, there are plenty of sites all around Sabie within short distances.

    Loved it

A great place to get away and relax for the weekend. Each campsite is equipped with a power outlet and shading under trees "If you like camping next to the river, a 10 m power extension cord will come in handy".

Overall its a great place, bathrooms are in excellent condition, clean swimming pools and very friendly staff.

We had a great weekend was sad to leave :(

Lovely camping resort, animal friendly! Nice playpark for kids to play in. Two swimming pools one for adults and one baby pool. I would recommend this resort any time.
